About us - A studio of two
One engineer, one designer, working together out of Astoria. That is the entire studio — there is no third person to brief, and no version of your project that one of us has only heard about secondhand.
DevCore Studios is the name on all of it: the products we build for ourselves, the websites we build for other people, and the work we do for free for organizations a few blocks away. Being this small is the point. We take fewer clients, we know all of them by name, and we get to say yes to things no budget would ever cover.

Builds the thing and keeps it running — application code, data models, deploys and the boring reliability work that decides whether a site is still healthy a year later.
Design

Decides how it looks and how it feels to use — layout, type, color and the hundred small judgment calls that separate a site that works from one people actually enjoy.
How we think - What working with us actually means
Two people is the feature, not the caveat
Nobody is translating your request through an account manager before it reaches whoever does the work. A decision that takes an agency a week of scheduling takes us one conversation.
Launching is the easy part
Anyone can put a site up. The real question is whether it is still fast, secure and accurate in two years, after the dependencies have aged and your hours have changed twice. We would rather talk about that up front than surprise you with it later.
We eat our own cooking
We run our own products, which means every tradeoff we recommend to you is one we have already had to live with ourselves at 11pm on a Tuesday.
We will tell you if you don’t need us
Sometimes the honest answer is a simpler site, a cheaper tool, or nothing at all. Saying so costs us one project and earns a recommendation, which has worked out fine so far.
Where we are
Astoria, Queens, NY. We work with clients anywhere, but we show up in person for the ones close enough to walk to — and for every cleanup, street festival and community event we photograph.
